WHAT'S NEW? I've just started another site for real animals as an adjunct to the web store. I wanted the store to be educational, too, but It turns out Google gets confused when you combine real animals with fake ones, so it may be the best of both worlds to split them up. Yes, the sites look about the same as this site, and I'm fine with that. I've started a new menu for my personal chronology on this site. It will be pretty cool when I get it further along. The web is nothing if not an exercise in evolution. Once the foundation is laid, I hope it will be like an easy-to-use scrapbook.
My name is Sheryl Todd, aka Tapirgal (due to a mistake I may explain somewhere). To the left are a few ancestors, friends, and my own evolution. In addition to my Tapir Fund store loaded with replica and toy animals, I wanted to make an additional site that combines my interests. I have always loved animals and natural places. I care about conservation and all that this amazing planet has to offer. My love of life extends to human-made things I consider beautiful and/or interesting, unique, intriguing, exotic, and challenging. I am a curator at heart. I can't help it. I'm an image addict and a synthesizing fanatic. I hope you find something enjoyable in these pages and links.
Here are a few of the images I've been working with lately on various projects.
